A lone runner on an empty mountain road at dawn

BetaMental performance platform for runners

Your legs are ready.
Is your head?

Train your mindset alongside your mileage. The Runner's Vault gives you a personal logbook, guided running audio and practical tools for the moments that matter.

The problem

The training is done.
The doubt isn't.

You've put in the miles. Then race morning arrives and your stomach is in knots before you've left the house. Or it's kilometre 14 of a long run, the pace feels heavy, and a voice in your head starts negotiating.

Maybe it's the clock. You set out for a personal best and spend the whole run doing maths instead of running. Or a disappointing result follows you into the next three weeks of training.

These aren't fitness problems. They're skills — and skills can be practised. That's what the Vault is for.

Meet the platform

The Runner's Vault

Six connected tools that work as one system — before your run, during it, and after. Not an ebook. Not a course. Software you actually use.

02

Field Log

A 60-second mindset check-in before and after every run. Spot the patterns you can't feel in the moment.

03

Audio Lab

Guided sessions built to be listened to while you run — before, during and after.

04

Race Control

Build a personal mental race plan: start-line strategy, attention cues, if-then responses.

05

Pressure Profile

A 12-question self-assessment that shows you which mental challenges to work on first.

06

Mental Training

Practical exercises for attention control, self-talk, confidence and race-day rehearsal.

07

Performance Review

Your self-reported confidence, pressure and motivation — plotted over time, in your own words.

Inside the Vault

See exactly what
you're getting.

No mock-ups, no renders. These are the actual screens you'll use, photographed inside a real account.

The pre-run check-in: a three-step entry for session, numbers and mindset

01

The 60-second check-in

Before a run: session, numbers, mind. Three quick steps — confidence, pressure, motivation, and what's on your mind. Built to be done on your phone at the front door.

The Field Log: a mindset logbook with pre-run and post-run entries

02

Field Log

Every check-in and debrief in one logbook — concerns, focus cues, what worked, what didn't. Searchable, filterable, exportable to CSV whenever you want.

The Audio Lab: guided running sessions with playable recordings

03

Audio Lab

Guided sessions for before, during and after a run. New recordings are added as they're produced — playable ones are marked, honestly.

The Performance Review: confidence trends and recurring challenges plotted over time

04

Performance Review

Your own entries, turned into patterns: pre-run vs post-run confidence, weekly trends, and the challenges that keep coming back — in your own words.

How it works

Before. During. After.

01 / BEFORE

Check in

Sixty seconds before you head out: confidence, pressure, motivation, what's on your mind. Listen to a short session to set your focus.

02 / DURING

Run with it

Guided audio built for mid-run listening — for when motivation dips, the pace bites, or the clock starts shouting.

03 / AFTER

Debrief

Log what happened in your head, not just your legs. Over weeks, your Performance Review shows the patterns you'd never see day to day.

Race Control

Build a plan for when the race gets difficult.

Race Control walks you through your own mental race plan: your pre-race routine, start-line strategy, attention cues, and personal if-then responses — "if I start panicking about pace, then I check my effort and focus on the next kilometre."

Questions

Straight answers

What exactly do I get?

Full access to The Runner's Vault: the Field Log, Audio Lab, Race Control, the Pressure Profile assessment, Mental Training exercises and your Performance Review. One payment, your account, your data.

What does beta mean?

The core platform is live and fully working — logbook, audio player, race plans, assessment, training pathways. Some lessons and audio sessions are still being written and recorded, and they're added to your account as they're finished. You pay once and get everything, now and as it grows.

Which distances is it for?

5K, 10K, half-marathon and marathon. The tools are built around the psychological demands of racing and training, whatever your distance.

I'm a beginner. Is this for me?

Yes. The platform doesn't assume any sports psychology knowledge. Everything is written in plain runner's language and starts from where you are.

How does the audio work?

Guided sessions play directly in the platform, on your phone or desktop. They're designed to be listened to before, during or after a run, with large controls you can use mid-stride.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. The platform is built mobile-first, so you can check in before a run or listen to a session from your pocket.

Is the £29 a subscription?

No. It's a one-time payment. No recurring charges, no renewal dates.

How do I get access after paying?

You create your account, complete the one-time purchase, and the Vault opens immediately. Everything you record stays private to your account.
